Tinymce tab missing from documents Revo fresh install 2.2.5

Hi,

I have just installed a fresh copy of Tinymce 4.4.3 on Revo 2.2.5. The install went fine, no errors or warnings, when editing any document the tab just doesn't show?

I have uninstalled, force removed, manually deleted files and re-installed. No luck.

I have also checked the system events for the plugin and system settings for any strange values.

Has anybody had a similar issue or know where I can start before having to do a fresh Modx install. -(

What do you mean by tab?

Is there a content area on the resource? Is this a rich text editor or no?

I'm just a little confused as to what's missing, because tinyMCE doesn't load into any tab.

Apologies guys for the misleading terminology.

The content area is there but no Tinymce editor present.

I am trying to upload a screen dump, I am getting file type not allowed on (jpg, bmp, tif). :-(

OK so it really is simply not installing.

And after you do a site and browser cache dump and refresh the packages page it shows in the installed add on list?

Yes it installs perfectly and shows up as installed.

In the resource settings tab, is rich text editor ticked? Also, just to be 100% sure, in system settings, rich text editor section, is tinyMCE set for resources?

The Enable Rich Text Editor key use_editor is set to yes in the system settings.

Under the resource settings tab I have only Rich Text as an option and it is ticked. There is no Rich Text Editor box to be ticked?

Sorry, I was in a hurry and didn't name them properly. Yes, those are the settings I referred to.


Have you cleared the files from core/cache manually?

Yes I tried clear cache from admin also manual deletion via FTP.
