Revo 2.2.4 hangs when saving a resource

You don't need to remove any actual TV values. On the template, select the Template Variables tab and un-check all TVs then save the template. This will not delete any saved values, and they should be available again once the TVs are re-associated with the template.

I tried also to delete and reinstall TinyMce, and also keeping it disabled, no change.

Now, that's very strange.
I created a new document, and it saved.
Then I tryed editing it to make it like the "damaged" one.
I mean: setup template (and it saved), then I changed the name of the document and saved (all ok), but when I pasted a text into content (again, only text, no richtext) it stopped saving again.
So I tryed to write the text manually (to be sure it was not anything strange getting pasted, but keep in mind I pasted it in text editor first to be sure it was simple txt), and... it again don't saves!! :O

This is the "culpright" text:
Soil type: Clayey-Sandy
Training system: Spurred cordon
Number of vines per hectare: 7500
Yield per hectare: 60 qt.
Harvest: September

The culpright this time seems to be the "return". O__o
If I write all without going to wrap text, it saves :O

p.s.: I'm going to try disable the TV now

Disabling the TV dosn't solves the issue unfortunately!

p.s: the original "damaged" (or it so seemed) resource, had saved the text with the line breaks in code, but it never saves if I put even a single <p> code inside

No ok the line break is not the culpright
It seemed strange to me, but I'm trying to understand what is happening

I tryed again to write all by hand and save every few words, it saved until:

After that, even a single letter makes it stuck. O__o

what happens if you try everything but remove

Does it save then ? if so try adding the words back in 1 at a time, if it fails to save remove the latest word and go to the next as it might be a server setting stopping you from saving certain words

Hello Paulp, yes, if I delete all except those words it saves. BUT I can make a SINGLE SPACE after System: (still saves), but then, even if I add only the S it freezes again! O___o
This behaviour is very strange!!
I tried also to change the words after that.
If I write:

Training Systam: S " it saves: I've only changed the e to an a.

Now it let me save:
"Soil type: Clayey-Sandy

How is possible that a single letter could make him go mad??
It even let me put the <p> tags correctly...

I also reenabled tynimce and richtext: it saves correctly!! But if I change the a to the e, it stops saving again O__o

So the problem is not in the resource but in the text. WTF??? I'm not a programmer but this seems very strange to me :O

p.s.: I had errors on other files, because all had the same text inside, soil type, training system, etc.
I will do some other tries tomorrow, I'm in Italy and now is midnight

I would say this is defiantly down to a server setting, I've seen this before but can't for the life of me remember what it is you have to have disabled.

It's late here as well so if this hasn't been answered by the morning I'll see if I can find it.

EDIT:

I think it could be down to mod_security or a date/timezone problem, see if you can get mod_security disabled and then try saving it again.

I have a meeting with clients this morning (morning here in Italy ), but will see what I can the host do for that settings.
The problem is my host is usually helpful but is not so fast when I ask for settings, so if you can tell me what is the setting that need to be modified with more sureness I will ask them for a try (hoping is not a setting they don't wanna touch for security reasons, I'm not an expert of settings, and they have sometime a strict policy on some).

If you just ask them to turn mod_security off I think that may solve the problem.
