I'm hoping someone can shed some light upon an issue that I have had since at least MODx 2.1.5-pl.
Every time I install MODx everything goes smoothly and I end up at the login page able to login without submitting a username or password. This happens without fail. I posted about this way back at 2.1.5-pl but didn't really get anywhere - I couldn't really supply enough info for anybody to help -

The problem appears to be caused by two methods in modInstallTest class. These methods are _checkSuhosin() and _checkDocumentRoot(). Both these methods call the store() method of modInstallSettings class and the issue seems to be (in my dev environment listed below) that the call to $this->install->settings->store() is overriding the settings stored in the cache. If I comment out this last call everything works fine - no problem.
Here are the settings arrays from the test object (first) and the cache (second). As you can see the cms user details are missing from the settings in the test object (I've changed all the paths/passwords etc).
