I don't recommend trying to use this as a full site restoration. The assets folder and the database dump are the important parts. You would probably want to remove the users tables from the dump as well as the cache folder from assets.
I hadn't really been thinking of anybody trying to restore the whole site, so I just did a quick backup from my CPanel.
I've gone through that backup and removed everything but the assets (minus cache) folder and cleaned out a few items from the database dump. The new zip file is in the same place.
Make a new 1.0.6 installation, then import the database dump and replace the assets folder. Probably be a good idea to re-run the installer after the database import.

After replacing the cache folder, everything works perfectly for my case now. Thanks. Already stuffed my fridge and closed the door. I guess this weekend is going to bring me better combinations of templates, content and calls. They don't teach you evo design patterns elsewhere.

Design patterns? I certainly didn't have anything that esoteric in mind! I just document what stuff did.
I lost a client because he asked me what design patterns I use, I was baffled and I didn't know what to say. Somebody explained me that a design pattern is a general reusable solution to a commonly returning setup within a design. You can start just to code away a website and later on improve things. But you can also bring together templates, css, scripts, content, chunks and snippets in a general reusable way that can be used as a pattern for your next project. At least part of it. That is what I am trying to figure out. You did more than just document about what stuff was doing. In your evo manager I noticed a clear and clean use of templates, content, chunks and snippets. For me it is a very good example to follow especially seeing it directly in somebody's evo manager which doesn't happen that much.
