I'm not going to have the time and energy to maintain two different versions of my site. Does anybody want the existing Evo documentation? There's a number of articles and demos, as well as the MODx From the Inside series of articles on how Evo works.

I can back up the whole site, or just the resources, if anybody wants to take it.

Please move your Evo site to other webspace and point it to another domain. If needed I will gladly offer webspace and a (sub)domain. It will serve for the Evo user group. Else, a backup of the whole site would be great, you could make it available as a zipped download, same for all the Evo documentation, articles, demos, modx from the inside and the articles on how Evo works. I would also be happy to host this if the assets folder and a db dump was available.

By the way, all of my content is released to the public domain. Do with it as you please. MODx and the various snippets and other code are licensed GPL or whatever the authors chose to license their work as.

Thanks Susan, this is going to speed up my evo learning curve. I owe you one for this download. But what is the reason that made you move on to revo ? Eventually being left out from the modx train ? Why not wait for modx-3 and then make the move ? I'm not the expert here, but my reasons to stay with evo are kiss architecture, faster manager and interface speed, will never have a project exceeding the 5000 pages limit, easy permissions. What about in general being productive with revo ? Is this better than with evo ? Greetings Brian.

Susan, I installed your backup on my laptop with xampplite and can successfully login with guest and guestuser. I had to wait 5 minutes for being able to login as there was a message that an upgrade was in progress. Right now only the homepage ( localhost/sottwell/ ) shows up in my browser. All the other pages don´t show up in my browser and throw an error "object not found error 404" I have limited privileges to edit. How do I login as a full admin and have all the privileges ? Do I have to hack the database for that ?
