Creating Custom Fields in Revolution Version of MXCalendar

Does anyone have any experience doing this? Would like to be able to add a photo option to my events.

BUMP. Please folks - this is a feature I would really like to use, but the documentation is non-existent. Would also like to know how to use the "Form" tab in the Create Event form to add an event registration form to some events. Anyone? Bueller?

Have you found a solution to add fields? I also need to link an image to an event, and I don't know how to do it ...

Sorry manonp, but I haven't figured this out yet. The developer of mxCalendar is in the middle of a very busy time, but is typically very helpful. I'm holding out hope that he may chime in here at some point.

I'll keep looking on my side. If someone goes through there and had an idea of direction then I'm all ears!!

Want to get that added and is certainly a roadmap item. The REVO version to support custom fields is now one of the highest priority enhancements on the list. I'm intending on using TVs to achieve that where by you will be able to pass in a list of TVs to the snippet to generate additional properties for events.

As for timeline I'm looking at late November to Dec to complete this in a release for all. Your feedback is more than welcome.

than laurentw, the more request I get for a particular feature of course the higher it gets moved up on the list. Right now custom fields is about as high as it can be. Looking forward to getting a release with it.

Custom fields and registration would make this a killer plugin...any update on when the new version will be available? I'm in the middle of a project and i'm trying to determine if I can wait or if I need to consider a different solution. Thanks!

Right now it looks like mid Jan 2013 will be the first canidate for release with that feature added in for Custom Fields. The plus side is a release this month is scheduled to support registration capabilities.
