I installed the 2.2.6 to my other web host and I don't see the error on Manager pages.

Could it be a problem with file / directory permissions? Any info re correct file permissions on a 2.2.6 install?

I can share my Manager access if needed. Thanks

Could be a corrupted js file somewhere. Maybe your browser's javascript error console can give a better indication of which file the error is coming from.

It's a System Setting. Just search for "compress" in the Search by key field.

Now that's interesting... looking at the source, that's supposed to be in single-quotes:

                  String.format('<html><head><style type="text/css">body{border: 0; margin: 0; padding: {0}px; height: {1}px; cursor: text}</style></head><body></body></html>'...

Still couldn't figure out how to remove the annoying pop-up errors. The manager is okay, I can save edited resources, etc. The only issue is that the pop-up error keeps on displaying every save, every page in manager.

I talked with the webhost but he says he doesn't know how to fix the error.

                    Help please.

                      Help please.

A site I built in modx started doing this, same pattern:

                      1. save a resource
                      2. switch tabs on the left nav area.

When I look at the ajax return value in the browser, it looks like it is returning the web host's 403 html text. The url that is generating this error is /connectors/element/index.php?action=getNodes&id=n_template_category_21&type=template

The user that I am trying to do this with is a user who is restricted in the manager. They basically have access to resources and files - i'm trying to keep them away from all the elements.. NOTE: my admin user does not have this issue.
