MiniShop & Paypal Integration?

It would be tricky. In the US you only have to charge it for local State customers.

In other countries it is a country-wide tax. So for outside the US one can just include it into the item price. In the US it would only get deducted for the ones in your State. PayPal accounts for this in its system, but not sure how that would integrate into your shop.

In miniShop2 you can program you own custom classes for delivery, payment, cart and order.

So, it can be any functionality and logic. Of course, you need to have some php skill for that, but miniShop2 have no limits by design.

Cool! I'm excited to try this out. What is the maximum number of skus that this system would work well with. Would 3k skus scare you? Is there product, customer, order import/export from csv currently?

I think I answered my own question there. PayPal should handle the tax as long as you have it setup in your account. When I have a chance to test it out I'll report back.

If donation's and recurring payments could also be a part of it, that would also rock!

PayPal handles memberships, invoicing, and reoccurring payment options so you should be all set there too.

I will be making a nice donation to Vasiliy for this once I put it to use. It's really a huge bonus for anyone using MODX to have a real shopping cart integration right in the manager.

Has anyone been able to get this working in a sandboxed environment yet? My install works fine going through a regular payment, but always fails when reconfigured for a sandbox (which is set up correctly with PayPal).

I developed it at sandbox. You need to change credentials, and urls: api and checkout.
