    Thanks, I'll look at it. Is it MODx Revo + Vanilla + jsconnect plugin?

    And a few more questions)) Does it have any (even minor) issues with authorization, autologin? How many developers have tested it?

    I'll explain. I tried several combinations: MODx Evo + phpBB (or SMF, or MyBB) + bridge. But I still do not satisfied - because of difference in logic of MODx and forum engines there is some bugs that do not give me to live in peace)) So I believe that native forum (Duscuss) is the best solution.

    But I will be happy if there is one more solution that will work fine!) BTW, I tried only MODx Evo + forum, not MODx Revo + forum.. [ed. note: Alexus last edited this post 14 years ago.]

      I'm talking about all the options, of which that is one. You can use your own custom transliteration tables to do exactly what you describe.chaussures nike moins cher tn requin nike air yeezy

        Discuss is still in development according to the roadmap.

        Forget about SMF (except that it's a powerful and trustworthy forum software), it uses SHA1 for password hashing, and it is way to hard to integrate with MODx. MyBB is a little easier since it uses a salted MD5 password hashing method (MODx uses PBKDF2).

          If MODx does not suit your needs then you have a lack of imagination.

          Thanks. But there are a lot of open tasks here http://tracker.modx.com/projects/discuss/issues?sort=updated_on%3Adesc%2Cstatus%2Cid%3Adesc It makes me think that Discuss develops very slowly... And no one tells how long it takes to release Discuss(( I do not ask official forecast, I ask approximately terms - a year, two, may be a couple of month? I'm very interested in Discuss and really expect it!!

          And what is about MODx Revo + Vanilla? I read feedbacks about some problems with this integration too. So I'm not so sure as sottwell that it works very well. [ed. note: Alexus last edited this post 13 years, 11 months ago.]

              It was mentioned by Ryan on his MODXpo talk, but I kind of can't remember it. The first thing which comes to mind is 'soon' laugh

                  Right, it just got repeated by Ryan at the London meetup:
                  07:56:27 - Discuss got build, rebuilt, and re-rebuilt. Should be released before the end of the year

                    Hi Alexus,

                    At the MODXpo I heard "march 2013". But i am not sure if this is correct.
                    Until then you can use MODX + Vanilla + jsConnect.
                    It is set up in "a jiffy".
                    Setup Vanilla and add the jsConnect + jsConnect Auto Login plugin in Vanilla.
                    Create the connectorscript like the one used here by LordCurse: https://forums.modx.com/forums/thread/48990/is-there-a-modx-forum-addon?page=2#dis-post-436449

                    And Voila, you have an integrated forum on which you will auto log in.

                    Just create the plugin below to also logout when you do.
                    <?php
                    $e = &$modx->Event;

                    switch($e->name) {
                        case 'OnWebLogout': // integrated logout
                                setcookie('Vanilla', ' ', time() - 3600, '/', 'www.yourdomain.com');
                                setcookie('Vanilla-Volatile', ' ', time() - 3600, '/', 'www.yourdomain.com');
                                unset($_COOKIE['Vanilla']);
                                unset($_COOKIE['Vanilla-Volatile']);
                        break;
                    }

                      Ryan told me by the end of the year as I asked him direct for a project that is going live early March, The team have done a great job of updating it and as far as I can see it's nearly there smiley
