How to Import MySQL User Data to Revo 2.2?

Hi,

I'm using Revo 2.2 to create a site as a replacement for a legacy PHP4 site. The legacy site stored user membership and payment data to track dues. Can I simply import the data from this database into the Revo database? If so, are there user defined fields in Revo to store custim data fields? If I need to import the database how do I reference it from within Revo to ensure users whose dies are current continue to have appropriate access?
