Hallo, I wanted to use [(site_url)] in the ContactFormReport as in the
http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/EForm email form sample, in a line like this:
<p>this is a message from <em>[+name+]</em> though the form on <strong>[(site_url)]</strong> (on [+postdate+] server time).</p>
But in the email I get:
this is a message from Bill Gates though the form on [(site_url)] (on 16-Apr-2012 09:34:13 server time).
I also tried [!site_url!] - [(site_name)] - [(base_url)] with no luck.
Any help?
Thank you

Great, that worked!
But I just noticed another problem: the mail I receive has not a "sender" in Thunderbird (the "From:" field in the mail header is empty, it should be:
From: sendername <[email protected]>
generated from something like
From: [+name+] <[+email+]>
Parameters that shold be passed to the mail daemon, I guess.
Can this be fixed too?
grazie, ciao

thank you again, here's the situation:
In the call I had &from=`[+email+]` (and I had the blank From), now I changet it with your code &from=`((email))` and now I get, in my mail header:
(my test name was gennaro esposito and the mail is correct)
BUT
Thunderbird email says the sender is the site owner (my wife address) - not even the modx administrator (that's me) - her email is not in Modx so it must be added by the mail daemon - strange enough I can't see it in the mail header.

ok, studying the mail header, I see that the FROM field pruduced by the call &from=`((email))` is composed by
[(site_name)] <[+email+]>
instead of the expected
[+name+] <[+email+]>
that's better than nothing, at least replying to the mail now has the right address. I only dislike to see the mail coming from the site instead of the effective sender's name.
Just out of curiosity I've never seen double round bracket for parameters, when are they used?
Thank you
