I have a template that I’m setting up in which I need to display only the summary field in my template to show up on all pages of the site. I’ve attempted/explored TVs and apparently can’t quite wrap my head around how to achieve my goal.
How could I display one element (like the summary for instance) associated with a document? If that didn’t make sense, maybe this... [[~10~][*summary*]] ..rather, the appropriate syntax/method, would retrieve the summary text from document with the id 10.... Apologies for my "pseudo-syntax" there. My noobism has shined terribly brightly throughout not being able to easily accomplish this seemingy simple thing or at research the best way... bummed, please help. thnx.

Search for the "getField" snippet, this should do what you’re looking for
