[SOLVED] Additional user login loops back to login screen

I have created a new user with the aim to have an editor version of the manager so that there isn't too much clutter for content editors.

I can log in perfectly with my admin user, I create the new user and just for testing I assign them as an administrator and super user.

I log out and try to log back in as new user or even if I try to log in in different browser the login fails completely with no error. It just reloads the login screen. The password is correct, everything looks fine.

I found a post somewhere about deleting session fields in the system_settings table, that didn't help.

Any suggestions on this?

Not quite sure what did it, but I think the trick was to flush permissions and flush sessions.
