I've just rolled back MODx 2.2.0-pl and uninstalled/removed everything the normal way. Finally! smiley

Now I'm going to upgrade MODX to 2.2.1. The big question now is if it's worth messing with Articles again or not?

    Edit:
After reading Marks post above I'd say it's better to wait until any problems with Quip is sorted. [ed. note: tomahl last edited this post 14 years, 6 months ago.]

1.6.0 has been released which fixes the Quip issue as well as a few other things. Also adds ability to change the url format for new articles. http://modx.com/extras/package/articles

I'd say upgrade MODX, upgrade Articles to 1.6.0 and have fun.

(I'm going to be updating a site of my own now, too)

Mark, I've had some pretty hairy experiences with trying to get Articles to perform in a stable manner. Even when I do a force removal. A quick scan of the database shows an entry for Articles in the namespace table. There are also remnants of Articles in various places in the manager. Can you give me a good idea of what should and shouldn't be there for a clean Articles uninstall?
