Ah... It has everything to do with custom processors! I've worked through a couple of your update.php processor files and all has come clear, thank you very much for the tip.
I realise now how powerful migxDB is, thanks for your excellent work Bruno, I see you like beer!

have a look to this one:
          https://github.com/Bruno17/migxclientmanager
          especially to this:
          https://github.com/Bruno17/migxclientmanager/blob/master/core/components/migxclientmanager/processors/mgr/default/update.php

its a simple example, how its possible to manage users with a MIGXdb - CMP

          Hi Bruno,

I need to make CMP with use of MIGXdb. I already listed my custom tables and joined tables (I have working relating between tables - schema is ok, work with getMany, addMany etc.).

I still have problem with the most important thing - create/update joined tables in MIGXdb, I checked your sample with users manage, but I don't know how to rewrite it for my purpose.
          Basically I have a 3 objects (tables):

          Products (id,name,desc)
          Attributes (id,name,desc)
          ProductAttributes (id,product_id,attribute_id)

So I just want to display Products in CMP with possibility to edit joined Attributes as well.
What I know is i need just a update.php processor...

          Any help will be appreciated

you will need to copy the default - update-processor to your package-folder

            core/components/{yourPackage}/processors/default/update.php

            or

            core/components/{yourPackage}/processors/{processorspath}/update.php

            https://github.com/Bruno17/MIGX/blob/master/core/components/migx/processors/mgr/default/update.php#L269

and add the code for updating/creating your aggregates after saving the main-object.

To have the existing values in your form, use the joins - configuration and prefix the fieldnames in the form with
the join-alias, for example for modUser and its Profile - aggregate it would be

            Profile_email

            and the joins-configuration would be

            [{"alias":"Profile"}]

you will need to copy the default - update-processor to your package-folder

              core/components/{yourPackage}/processors/default/update.php

              [...]

              https://github.com/Bruno17/MIGX/blob/master/core/components/migx/processors/mgr/default/update.php#L269

and add the code for updating/creating your aggregates after saving the main-object.

              [...]

              That's my problem - i don't know what i have to change.
Can you give me a ready to copy solution or a sample of code that will work?

I've sorted it. It wasn't that hard i thought. It's my lack in PHP knowlegdge smiley

                  Hi again Bruno,

Thanks for all help, have 2 questions strictly to MigxDB / CMP.

                  1. How to make a multiple delete button? There are checkboxes to check multiple items but I can delete just one at once.
                  2. How to make a multiple tabs in one MigxDB CMP

                  See an attached preview.

                  Thanks.

                    1. In the Configurator there is the tab 'Actionsbuttons' and there is a checkbox 'bulk'

This will add some default bulk-actions delete, publish, unpublish the selected items.

you will need to have the fields deleted and published to work with them.
and you should add the button 'toggleTrash' and have the context-menue 'recall_remove_delete' activate
                    perhaps the actionbutton 'emtpyTrash', too

In your columns you need to have the field 'deleted', too (can be hidden in the grid-view)

                    2. Just create the needed configurations and put them || - separated to the menu-params
See how it is done with the migx-CMP:
                    configs=packagemanager||migxconfigs||setup

Thanks Bruno, simple solutions and they works excelent!

I have now almost everything i need from MigxDB, except one - i realized that I need items to behave as they are resources.
I looked into ModX documentation and I'm not sure but I think a need to create a new Resource Class and join it with MigxDB items.

                      Am I think right?
