MODx Manager Logout Problem - On the right path?

    Hello

    i’m a french guy so excuse my english !

    but i have the same problem, i don’t understand !

    when i logout and come back to modx manager, i must login several times... with the same login/password..

    it’s very strange ?

      What browser are you using?

      I only ask because in every case I experience this, I have tracked this issue down to be browser-specific...

      When I use FireFox (tested on PC/WinXP) I frequently experience random/automatic logouts. However, I can use Internet Explorer 6 or 7 and I am never automatically logged out...To me, this partially rules out any server/session settings, I am curious if the Session JavaScript / PHP or other might not be functioning as intended? I have even gone as far as removing ALL FireFox Add-ons, etc, and still no go...yet in IE, my sessions keep chugging away! (I hate IE) sad

      Personally, I have had similar AJAX methods function as intended in IE and not in FF...

      Please confirm by trying an alternate browser!

        but i have the same problem when i used firefox ou Internet Explorer..

        the problem is not here...

        do you think it could be a apache configuration problem ?

          Did you try breaking down the problem using something like a HTTP sniffer ?

            This was solved for me by turning EditArea completely off as well. No idea how it was causing it, but I guess it’s fixed... going to miss that plugin.

              What version did you have installed? Possibly you could try v0.3.1? I know there is an existing JavaScript bug w/ the EditArea instance, maybe somehow it is conflicting with MODx’s keep-alive/session JavaScript...

                  I use v0.3.1, as I have seen performance issues w/ 0.3.2. I’m not saying it WILL fix your problem, but it’s worth a shot to try ruling it out.
