I use http://twitterfeed.com/ for sharing with Facebook, the service can deliver to Twitter and LinkedIn as well.
Seems I wasn't quite here when I wrote the above, at first I used Twitterfeed, but now I use the Facebook app RSS Graffiti. [ed. note: pcab50 last edited this post 14 years ago.]

I'm going to chime in here and agree completely with pcab50. I'm using the RSS feed that is automatically created in Articles along with RSS Graffiti to auto-post to Facebook. AMAZINGLY simple stuff.

The posters above are right. At this point the MODX Articles notification functions are broken enough that you're better off with a two-step method. It's more reliable, gives you much greater flexibility and allows you to post to Facebook and LinkedIn as well. Its only downside is that you will need to do some work to display MODX tags as Twitter hashtags. Here it is:

TwitterFeed is free, fairly powerful, has integrated statistics and bit.ly integration, and generally does the job well - as long as you don't need to publish to Google+. [ed. note: shorewalker last edited this post 12 years, 8 months ago.]

There is nothing direct from the Articles from what I can see, however, you can post from twitter, in the profile setting tab to your facebook or a specific page.

              Cheers!

There is currently no way to publish directly to Facebook from Articles. In fact, the publishing to Twitter feature is so buggy we are considering removing it until/if it is stabalized.
