Hi Guys,
I’ve installed MODx 096 final and setup went fine, I can login to Manager, can add/edit etc. ... everything in the backend but public pages are not loading at all.
Nothing in error logs, tried an echo statement in the index.php file to see if something is breaking there, disabled snippets ... etc., actually spent all day to figure out whats going on.
I then tried with 096rc3 .. same results.
php 4 and 5 (tried with both)
mysql 4 and 5 (mysql 5 at 3307) (tried with both)
Apache/1.3.37 Ben-SSL/1.57 (Unix) mod_fastcgi/2.4.2 FrontPage/5.0.2.2510 PHP/4.4.4 PHP/5.1.6 mod_jk/1.2.18
Any clues/pointers?
regards.
Update:
Raymond suggested me to install 095, and guess what it worked in first shot!
maybe it helps to know whats up with 096.

Issue resolved and related bug report is being entered. If you encounter something similar, you likely have an auto_prepend_file setting in your PHP configuration, which will now throw your index.php into noparser mode, a new "feature" to allow access to MODx API without executing a parser request.
I have the same problem with my test site. Is there a workaround (or something) available?
Thanks, this worked for me.
Martin
Adding that code did not work for me. Anything else I might be able to do to resolve this issue?
Not sure if this is related but I have caused my site to go blank by having an error in a snippet. If you have any custom or modified snippets try removing them.
