I have just installed on a Strato.de web package and everything installed fine. I then installed through the package manager TinyMCE and Codemirror and neither one show up. In the system settings they are set to go.
The system is on mySQL 5.0.91, PHP 5.2.17.
Like I said the installation showed no errors.
Anyone that knows about server settings or compatibility issues with this setup and MODX 2.2?

I tried turning off the compress js and compress css settings in the manager and put in the default time zone - some people have been having problems because of this...but to still no avail. I have 3 other projects running 2.2 and I did not have this problem - the other 3 projects are not however on a strato server and have other server specs...
Still searching for a solution.....

Turns out that there is a permissions problem. All plugins that contain files that are moved and saved in the assets/components folder are not able to be read by MODX. Strato.de was extremely unfriendly on the phone and I have decided to convince the client to move elsewhere. For anyone in Germany, we were using their 'Power Hosting' package. For another client I am using their Virtual Server solution and it runs fine, but their managed hosting solutions are not compatible I guess. They recommended that I use on of CMSs that they already have on their system (JOOMLA, Typo3)....NOT!!!!
