I can't see your code, you need to wrap it in the [ code ] your code [/ code ] tag. Anyway, I never put MODX tags in the TinyMCE content area because it is unreliable, and it is not meant to be used in that way. Usually I create a specific TV just for adding code to the page, then I hide it with Form Customization so that the customer will never be able to modify it.
Edit: when I had problems with TinyMCE I used to install FCKEditor, but I am not sure if it has been ported to Revolution (I used it on MODX Evolution)
