Hi!
I have a strange problem with tinyMCE - i create galleries that are "embedded" as objects with
type="text/html"
As soon as i use tinymce on this webside the code is changed to
type="application/x-shockwave-flash"
and the galeries are not shown any more.
i found this
http://forums.modx.com/thread/45718/solved-tinymce-is-removing-divs-from-the-code?page=2 but this didn't help me
I tried to create an option "valid_elements" with the content text/html but unfortunately tinymce isn't working any more ...
I switched off cleanup as well but that didn't help me as well.... Does anyone has an idea what i can try to avoid this? Would be great!

This is not a fix, but maybe if you create a textarea Template Variable you won't have this problem anymore.

jeah - thought of this as well... thanks - will try this for the moment but hopefully someone will come up with a fix
EDIT:
tried Chunk and TV - both are removed and replaced by tinyMCE as before...

Did you set the TV input type to text rather than richtext? TinyMCE won't modify a text field.

yes i did set it as text. TinyMCE just removes the complete TV and replaces it with this:
type="application/x-shockwave-flash"
Maybe i can use another input type that is accepted by tinymce and keeps my gallerie running? I could'n find a list of types so far...

I'm afraid I'm stumped.

I don't understand how is it possible that TinyMCE removes your code even if you don't use it at all. I mean, when you use a TV with input type text or textarea.

i think tinymce "validates" or "cleanes" everything that is inside the <object> tag and so my tv is removed and replaced.

So you are placing your TV inside TinyMCE? To make it work I think you need to replace TinyMCE completely with your TV.

no - i'm switching of tinymce to insert code in my document. But sometimes we are using tinymce to insert pics and stuff and turn on tinymce. In this moment - all the code is "cleaned" and my type="text/html" tag is removed - even if its in this form: [[*texthtml]]
