I have a problem when sending my published article to twitter.
At Twitter there just stands "[[+pagetitle]] [[+link]]" and nothing more...
i was using the placeholder "[[+url]]" what am i doing wrong? i tried other placeholder but same result... just one time i was using "<a href='[[+url]]'>[[+title]]</a> [[+hashtags]]" as my Twitter template an there was returned "<a href='something.com'>MyArticle</a> #hash1 #hash2" at Twitter.
But the next time i tried again there was the old stuff again...

You need to use at least one of the following:

      [[+title]] [[+url]] [[+hashtags]]

        Hi,
We too have problems publishing items to Twitter. Wether we put a name of a template in the template field or not, the tweet has the following content:
        [[+pagetite]] [[+link]] #tagOfArticle

        ]
I'm trying to locate the template that generates this output.
How to adjust it the right way?

It's in the advanced settings -> Notifications tab in the container editing screen.

              I know, I've seen that.

First off I left field "Twitter Template:" blank.

              Then I thought I'd create a tpl

              [[+title]] [[+url]] [[+hashtags]]

per the instructions at http://rtfm.modx.com/display/ADDON/Articles.Creating+a+Blog but I still got the same result?

Couldn't find a sample tpl to follow and help refers to
              [[+title]] [[+url]]
but the code is pumping out
              [[+pagetitle]] [[+link]]

                Anyone got twitterfeed working yet?

Tried 6 more tests but no success.

Also I noticed that twitter gets updated if you change Status to 'Published' and then click Save, but doesn't get updated if you leave Status as 'UnPublished' and Save then subsequently click 'Publish'.

Regardless, I can get the hash tags into twitter but otherwise all I get is

                [[+pagetitle]] [[+link]] #one #four

                  Hi, any success?

have the same issue, no matter what I put in the template container, I always get this on Twitter:

                  [[+pagetitle]] [[+link]] #tags

                  tags work...

For some reason I hade some output twice... once 'Error' for the URL and after that only the title...
                    (see att)

Seems like more people experience the same (unexpected) output.
Could this be a bug or is too early to jump to this conclusion?
