CMP and Doodles/modExtra

Its start working for me... I just delete cache manualy (remove all in /core/cache folder) and my grid start showing results....

I'd be more than happy to help if I knew what the problem was and how to fix it. That's why I've been such a nag, as soon as I learn what's going on I'll be able to actually make myself useful.

TheBoxer, I'd be delighted if you could work with me on this, clearing my cache doesn't help.

Did you follow the Doodles tutorial exactly?

Well, I finally got it to work, I believe this is the sixth time I've worked through the tutorial. This time I made the system settings a bit different by creating the namespace first and specifying the doodles namespace when creating the system settings. I'll try to work back and make sure of just what I did that was different from the tutorial. It was a lot of trial-and-error, so I'm not sure exactly what did the trick.

I downloaded the doodle addon from modx addon database and put it to its own folder (I have my cmp addon that I am making in its own folder, out of revo install folder). After setting right paths in all configs in doodles and adding core.config, I create namespace, action and modx config options (doodles.core_path, doodles.assuets_url) like in doodles tutorial.

After this Doodles works fine, except the grid (doesn't load data).

I tried clear cache in modx manager and then manualy. Then I cleared all sessions and relog.

Doodles start working after this and my grids in my cmp start working too.

did you ever find out why data was not displaying? I'm trying to work through this as well and getting the same problems... [no data in the grid]

Yes, after manually clearing the entire cache folder as well as my browser cache and cookies several times it began to work. However, now I'm trying to get the new version updated for 2.2 to work with no success at all.

I've been through all that - I have the cache disabled right now & modx running with debugging on... no success, no errors in modx or apache logs.
