Quip snippet call not working?

      Thanks Splitting Red - but I think there is still a problem...

      It now displays the input boxes correctly, but when I try to add a comment it just resets to the top of the page - no comment is added and nothing listed in the unmoderated comments section in the quip component in the back end.

        Oops, spoke too soon. A thread is now generated correctly, and a comment is logged when submitted, but it's not being moderated - it's just appearing as if approved.

            I can't log into the bug tracker either... says my email address is taken, but displays my information when I log in? Very weird...

            EDIT: used a different email address, all is right now...

              Added. http://bugs.modx.com/issues/5648 but the subject should read "quip doesn't create any comments" not "Quip won't create a thread"!

                I've added a further issue relating to the moderation of comments (or lack of).

                  Have a look at my comment @ http://bugs.modx.com/issues/5389 -- if your server is running suexec for PHP, it can be EXTREMELY sensitive to any deviations in permissions. Check that your Quip files have the correct permissions.

                      Tried the change of file permissions to 755 but it had no effect on moderation. Comments are still being published without moderation.
