      yeah thats also strange. but at my page, the embedded movie is replaced by an empty gif... WHY?!?!?! Huh

      Now thats strange, I configured the plugin, changed "clean-up" to disabled and now, where the player should be, theres the following code:

      <img src="http://***/assets/plugins/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/themes/advanced/images/spacer.gif" title="http://embed.break.com/MjAzNDAy" alt="http://embed.break.com/MjAzNDAy" class="mceItemFlash" height="350" width="425">

      I’m no expert at tinyMce but the gif is apparently inserted by the tinyMce flash plugin. I’m guessing this has to do with the way tinyMce parses things. By replacing the <object> & <embed> combination with a single gif there will be only one entry in the parsed "content tree" (my terminology). At cleanup time the tinyMce flash plugin usually replaces these back and forth. (when opening the source in the RTE and when saving the source). This must have some advantages, but I so far, as some of you, only experience bad side effects.

      When converting back and forth between gif and <object>/<embed> the dimensions are reset to 0 in my case, which obviously results in the flash movie not being visible.

      I’ve looked through the tinyMce flash plugin code but so far have been unable to find where things go wrong. As was mentioned it could well be a question of conflicting plugins. I haven’t tried disabling various combinations yet.

      Update:

      If it is shrinked to 0x0 pixels, then remove either Media or Flash plugin from TinyMCE. It seems there is a conflict and TinyMCE "cleans" the code the wrong way.
      I can definitively confirm that by removing the ’media’ plugin the flash plugin behaves much better. No more resizing to 0 pixels! You can remove the media plugin from the tinyMce config in the manager at resources>>plugins>>tinyMce on the configuration tab.

        Thx I’m gonna try it, will post the results. At the moment, my TinyMCE has disappeared, don’t know why...

        Well good night! laugh
