I am using modx 9.5 release and just recently it started to log me out of the manager once i make any changes. Normally i can get one change and then i will click to do something else and it brings me right to the login screen. I’m only staying logged in for less than a minute before i have to log back in again to continue working. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks.

Have you added any plugins to the site recently?
No, Just been changing the template around a little bit. Divs and such. Thats about it. Its so weird how i can get one change made and then it logs out.

webcatalin,
What’s your server environment, what version did you come from, what version did you update to (specifically) and who is your hosting provider?

Have you changed anything regarding security/cookies in your browser (or tried another browser)?
My manager started to log me out sometimes a couple of months ago and now I have trouble logging in. The login page just seems to refresh. If I just keep clicking the button sometimes it eventually logs in. Also sometimes the nav frame opens in a different tab to the modx frame. This happens on my mac and PC running Firefox 3 on mac and google chrome (or IE7) on PC. Modx is 9.6.
Thanks for nay help.

Staying logged in depends on sessions, so it sounds like the session is getting trashed somehow.
The only thing that is different is that the server is now running php5 instead of php4. Could that cause the problem?
It shouldn’t. Many, many MODx installs run on PHP5. You might ask the host if they did anything that would affect sessions when they made the switch.
