Go to your site’s database management (usually phpMyAdmin), browse the "manager_users" table, and edit the row for the manager user. Make sure to set the md5 function for the new password you enter.

Now go browse the "user_attributes" table and edit the row for your user (the internalKey will be the id of your manager user), and set the "blocked" and "blocked until" and "failed login" fields to 0.

I solved the above issue. Thanks you.

But now the problem is, Security Code validation.

Even if i type the security code correctly, the system says " security code validation failed"

What is the solution for this. Please do comment.

        thanks

            Hi,

When I try to login to manager I get a window that pops up saying "The page at http://localhost says:" and in the window it displays the code for the Minimal Template.

Have been using Modx for a while and yesterday I added the SMF forum and the Integration Module.

            • Running on Firefox 2.0.0.3 with very few add-ons.
            • XAMPP 1.5.5.
            • WinXP
            Any one have any ideas?

            Thanks

Uninstall the SMF module and see if it works properly. If so, it’s likely an SMF Module configuration issue.

                Hi

Maybe I wasn’t clear enough in my first post... I get that message but it does not let me log in to manager... so is it possible for me to uninstall the SMF Module without having access to manager?

                Thanks again

So does that leave me with no options except to scrap the whole install?

edit: I tried going to my forum and received this error message:

                    : Table ’universal.smf_sessions’ doesn’t exist
                    C:\Program Files\xampp\htdocs\modx-0.9.5\forum\Sources\Load.php
                    1986

Maybe that might give you some more info to work with

Then again now that i look at the path it seems to be more of a SMF problem than a MODx one.

                    sigh...

That looks like a localhost install. If you have it you can get to the database and reset your password. See the MODx 101 forum for some ideas on that front.
