I just installed 0.9.5 today and have this same problem. I followed the PHPmy admin advice. The setting was 1, so I cleared it, saved, then reset it to 1 again. I am still not able to publish a document. I can create, save and edit, but alas...all useless if it can’t be published :’( :’(

UPDATE: I WAS in fact signed in when I upgraded the site. I have created another admin user and can now publish under that user. Easy fix for me!! wink

Does anyone have another idea? I’m still new to MODX...installed on a test site awhile ago and then got tied up with other projects.

    TIA,
    Sheri

Searched the forum, this was as close as I found, so pardon if the question isnt in the right place… I Tried the PHPmyadmin thing suggested here, same thing - already set to 1, but my issue is still even slightly diff from what I read here. I can actually publish fine, but after logging out and closing all windows to the modx, and then going back, the main page automatically un-publishes itself and the admin panel claims a "server misconfiguration" until i re-publish the main page, which it does and works fine until logging out and closing wondows again. Im really really new to all this, but does that even sound possible? Also, as of right now the MODx Im working with is not public and I’m th eonly user because Im trying to learn the system to use it, so nobody is coming in behind me and un-publishing…

I’ll try that user trick though…
