Nope, in fact I have recently installed 0.9.5 rev 2106 and the web login form is still showing the "forgot password" stuff by default. It makes no sense to me. Also the stock menus aren’t rolling down like they should (JS problem?)...
Anyone else?
Both the menu and the login are JS/DHTML issues. I have no idea what is going wrong on your server.
I had the same webuser-login problems with Modx 0.9.5 rev 2106
I think its more a parser problem than a js problem.
Try inserting a line break after <!-- #declare:separator <hr> --> in the chunks FormLogin and FormSignup.
It sounds strange. But it works now. But I haven’t got a clue why. Any explanations will be appreciated ;-)
Holy cow - that worked. Unbelievable.
Yes, an explanation on that one would be nice!
Thanks so much for your help - FINALLY!
I had the same problem when trying to create and clean up the html coding of the template, but when I did it, even with the seperator in there, it still put it all together on the page until i restored the original file.
Sure wish this was valid html/xhtml..... hmmm...maybe a good project to work on.....
there will be a validating web login in the upcoming 0.9.5.1
EDIT: I haven’t done it btw.. I’m just repeating what I saw in other thread
"He can have a lollipop any time he wants to. That's what it means to be a programmer."
Excuse my ignorance, but what exactly do you mean by a "validating web login"? Sorry if that’s a dumb question...
A weblogin snippet that outputs xhtml/javascript code that will pass the w3 strict validation
"He can have a lollipop any time he wants to. That's what it means to be a programmer."
Right, I guess that was obvious if I really thought about it.
Hey - thanks for a fantastic application. MODx is great.
