Yep, that file exists.
The permissions are:

Ok, more information....
Whilst fiddling, I have discovered I only get the parse errors when I am logged in to manager. When I am not and try to look at the sample site I get:
Uh oh ... it’s a 404! (Page Not Found)
Looks like you tried to go somewhere that does not exist... perhaps you need to login or you’d like one of the following pages instead:
error: Wayfinder class not found
Want to find it the old fashioned way? Use the site search at the top of this site to find what you seek.
Does that help anyone work out what is going on?

Well, QuickEdit only works if you are logged in to the Manager.
There are a number of files in your assets folder not being found. The wayfinder.inc.php file should be in assets/snippets/wayfinder/wayfinder.inc.php.
Could this be a problem with the site_url and base_url? Is is possibly related to the switch to using constants instead of variables?
Well I went to resources admin and disabled the QuickEdit Plugin, and now I can see the site. Hope this help someone.
hmmmm. I wonder how to fix this. I havent been able to use quick edit....
