Just insert a space into it’s name so it doesn’t match any snippets on your site: [[Newslisting]] -> [[News listing]]

Okay, no sucess, I renamed all the snippets but still it generates parse errors in events...

Do you think, in my case, a fresh install would be better than tracing the problem?

Hmm, isn’t the ’too many forward attempts’ error associated with friendly URLs in some way. Are you using friendly URLs? And, if you are, have you renamed the ht.access in the Manager directory to .htaccess.

My guess is that it’s getting stuck in an infinite loop somewhere (and the only area I can think where this could occur is with FURLs) and running itself to the point where Apache crashes and dumps the memory.

          Just a thought anyway,
          Garry

            Hi,
Friendly URLs are turned on and works fine too. Rules in .htacess files are correct (I replaced the ones with the setup zip and renamed it to .htacess)

I also tried disabling FURL but still no luck...

I think i will do a fresh install and see what happens...

Fresh install fixed the problem.... smiley Since the site had only 5 pages, so it didn’t take time but it would have been mess if the site was big...

This is the most sad forum thread that I have never read (lol)

The thing is that I have the same problem (modx 1.0.2), I have started to read this thread and at every new post found it has make me the feeling of "oh! just like me!", also at every solution tried I have think "good... he has disabled all the snippets and that was not the solution, let’s see what’s the next thing"... I have read this thread like a interesting story book, thinking that in the end i will found the solution to my problem...

Then i got to the end and found that the only solution was a fresh install sad sad sad, this is very sad, I can’t do a fresh install to my modx, there’s too much pages and too much things on it, a real pita work.
