Modx migration

Weird, if you want pm me and i can provide you with a test site and mysql database so you could check how it runs on another host as it may be something to do with your provider,

The wwwroot in your last post gave me an idea...perhaps I have the patch slightly incorrect.

Create a test file and drop it in via FTP

?>

PATH_TRANSLATED should tell you the actual path to your site.

Well I thought i had it when I ran phpinfo();
My paths were incorrect.

they now read:

rb_base_dir: D:\hshome\me\mysite.com\assets\
filemanager_path D:\hshome\me\mysite.com\
rb_base_url http://www.mysite.com/assets/

Can you check your windows setting again for me please and see if I have my paths in the correct format please. Its obviously the move from apache hosting to IIS that has messed things up. Ive also noticed that EP2 Gallery is showing broken images....perhaps this is related......

Mine are:

rb_base_dir = c:/domains/spcs.eu/wwwroot/assets/
rb_base_url = http://www.spcs.eu/assets/
filemanager_path = c:/domains/spcs.eu/wwwroot/

ive noticed my \ are / in your line. did you paste it direct from phpmyadmin?
because in the post above I could have swore it read: c:/domains/spcs.eu/wwwroot/assets/

yep from my php my admin it’s / i.e. c:/domains/bla/wwwroot

erm.......back to the drawing board i guess >:(
im sure there is one setting somewhere that was setup for my old apache host thats throwing a spanner in the works.....

I’ll PM you in about an hour with some login details for a spare site on my hosting server so you can try it on another windows box just in case its your host config error.

might be a problem there....the DB im using does not allow external connections other that for admin.....so if you go pulling out stuff like modx does it will just hang...im afriad i host it here or bust!!!
