I notice a hardcoded characters string in the META tags manager (0.9.5 beta 5) :
You may wish to reference the HTML Reference Guide site for more information. This is not a complete list of possible Meta Tags.

That’s been fixed too OncleBen31... probably around commit 1744.

I don’t know if States (used in Webuser & user information) is hard coded, but I can’t find where it’s translated.

More over is there a way to retrieve this list to be used somewhere else (like in Signup form for example)

There are no more core statistic module in 0.9.5. I’ve read in another post that the core module is responsible of buggy behaviors. The better thing to do is to used an external statistic module.

Hi there several solutions such as:

                - google analytics (I guess there is snippet for this in repository)
                - slimstat (with a modx plugins)
                - phpmyvisites can easily be integrated (a simple js code in template)

                :-)

Just upgraded from 1751 (I think) where I was using FCKeditor to 1768. I then switched to TinyMCE. Paths are set to "document relative". Theme is "full featured". When I go to edit a page no toolbars appear. However I do have the grey "path" box at the bottom of the text area. Any ideas?

I don’t know why but with MacOS X, I don’t manage to find the text "Alabania" in the source but with Windows I find it tongue
So I’ve found the list of the States used in the user and webuser settings. The too lists are hard coded and separated
1- the lists should be in the language file to be able to translate it
2- the lists should be regrouped and accessible to third party module (like websignup)

What do you think about that ?

                      Hi,

Just wanted to add my support for 0.9.5 - looking awesome so far! I couldn’t find these few issues mentioned in the last 3 pages of this topic so figured they were still either undiscovered or works-in-progress smiley

I had beta 3 rev. 1533, now patched to beta 5 rev. 1776.

The original problem was that ModX wasn’t allowing GIF images to be uploaded in the File Manager, despite it being an allowed file type in both the user and site config.

So I’ve upgraded, and now the File Manager reports "Directory listing for:/ Access denied!" - even for the Administrator user, and note it’s not picking up the correct file path (on my system is "/home/wwwserver/htdocs/andyshellam.eu/dev/alpha") - this is set in both the user and site config.

Second point, when I ran the upgrade installer for 1733, it came up with the following:

"Setup will now attempt to setup the database:

Creating connection to the database: OK!

                      Selecting database `andyshellam_eu`: OK!"

                      and didn’t go any further.

Lastly worthy of note, when a folder or file is uploaded with the File Manager, it’s permissions are set to 777 by default - a tad dangerous?
