Some bug collection (beta 5, rev 1675).

    1) Just after installation (clean install) MODx Manager displays "Configuration" page. Normally it may contain "Site settings", "Friendly URL settings", "User settings", "Interface & editor settings" and "Miscellaneous settings" tabs. But just after installation "Configuration" page contains only "Site settings", "Friendly URL settings" and "User settings" tabs. "User settings" tab is shown correctly only before "Use CAPTCHA codes:" section, the rest is absent. I attached to this post screenshots in IE 6 and FF, so this is probably not a browser but server-side bug. After refreshing "Configuration" page will show all 5 tabs correctly all next times...

    2) "Remove Lock" command brings javascript "Scripting Error" window with message "’top.scripter’ is null or not an object". I think this bug is self-explaining according to last MODx Manager frame structure changes...

    3) Checkbox "Remember me" on MODx Manager "login" page does’t work (in any browser, all coockies are accepted, and so on).

    EDIT:
    4) "Previuos", "Next" and "Close" buttons in javascript "Scripting Error" window does not have appropriate icons (they are absent and shows blank squares).

@jaroslav, looks like you missed the 1683 commit by a few minutes... please try that one and I suspect one or so of those are resolved.

Bugs in beta 5, rev 1687
Some bug reports are same as in my previuos post, this means they are still actual in 1687.

        1) "Remove Lock" command brings javascript "Scripting Error" window with message "’top.scripter’ is null or not an object". I think this bug is self-explaining according to last MODx Manager frame structure changes...

        2) "Previous", "Next" and "Close" buttons in javascript "Scripting Error" window does not have appropriate icons (they are absent and shows blank squares).

        3) Checkbox "Remember me" on MODx Manager "login" page does’t work (in any browser, all coockies are accepted, and so on).

        4) Default site (content) Ajax search bug: some javascript error occurs after pressing "ESC" key to close up list with returned search results, and search becomes not working. Also, it seams not intuitive to hide returned search results only by "ESC" key, but not by clicking in some space outside the search results list, as usually behaves most popups.

          rev 1688

After doing an upgrade from 0.9.2.1 admin (id=1) can no longer publish documents. The new ’publish_document’ in the user_roles table is set to 0 when upgrading.

Netnoise just submitted a fix for that in his branch. Coming soon to a trunk near you.

Fixes for all of these plus a new installer theme are now checked into trunk as of 1706. Thanks for the continuing feedback guys...I can almost taste the release...

                      Bug or just missing feature?

When I create a page and select meta tags / keywords they get inserted into the page. But if I go back to edit the page, I cannot tell what meta tags or keywords where selected in the manager. When I go back later they are no longer highlighted. Is that how it’s supposed to be?

If really should highlight which ones are already selected to be included in the document. Or some other way to be able to tell what is already in the doc.

On another note, I just noticed that with TinyMCE, if I select "Advanced" mode instead of "Full Featured", the CSS style I selected for the editor no longer works. You don’t need it in simple because there are no styles to select. But in "Advanced" there are and it’s not working.
