    <p>[*introtext*]</p> might work better.

    I tried that earlier but it didn’t make any difference. I’ll try again and make sure I’m flushed. Thanks.

    Nope, it didn’t make any difference. Bummer.

      Indeed. I often use links, and occasionally even img tags, in my introtext. All I can suggest is to check your html.

        Wow, <p />! I used to use <p> as a paragraph break 10 years ago - it used to be valid. Then I stopped. Now I’m using <p></p> as it is neater than <div class="para">. But <p /> shouldn’t screw up the parser - only the rendering.

        Bullrat, if you do a View Source on the generated page, do you see the whole text?
          No, I don&#39;t know what OpenGeek&#39;s saying half the time either.

          I was racking my feeble brain to think what have I done to make this error show up today. Very early this morning I added
          <meta name="description" content="[*introtext*]" />
          to my "head" and that’s what did it! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for mentioning to look in the View Source.

          p.s. I’ll never use the paragraph tag like that again -- woot!
