I’ll "soon" be releasing what I call the MODx/DevKit. It will take to form of a windows app initially but I guess it can always be ported to other platforms.
No further information is available just yet but I know you will love it! Well at least developers will

Windows might not be so bad, but not sure it’s the platform of choice of most devs these days (or is it ?)
Lots of Mac and Linux users among those...
Anyway, that’s great news for the project to get a dev kit
