Thanks, we’ll of course create a transport package etc. but there’s more than one person translating the different toppics, so I’ve created the categories in the wiki as mentioned above to better organise the collaborative translation efforts.
"Flush" in Flush Permissions means to basically ’reload’ the permissions. So think ’reload’, or ’reset’.
I have trouble translating flush in Flush Permissions and Flush All Sessions
mainly because I don’t understand what these commands do, especially Flush Permissions, What does it do? What is it good for? Can someone explain this to me please?
PS: Also, do you think the word "Revolution" should be translated or not?

, don’t wait for me i’ll fly over
$_lang['class_key_desc'] = 'The type of object you would like to map to the vehicle.'; $_lang['object_id_desc'] = 'The exact object that you want to map. Required.';
$_lang['package_autoselects_desc'] = 'Please select the resources you would like the Package Builder to automatically include. Note: if building from the core, it is recommended not to check any of these.';
$_lang['setting_mail_smtp_single_to'] = 'SMTP Single To'; $_lang['setting_mail_smtp_single_to_desc'] = 'Provides the ability to have the TO field process individual emails, instead of sending to entire TO addresses.';

$_lang['setting_cache_handler_desc'] = 'The class name of the type handler to use for caching. If set to true, this will use server headers to cache the lexicon strings loaded into JavaScript for the manager interface.';

Now that the Language Builder has been fixed, I’d really like to do that, but it seems that I’m too dumb for it...
You can feel free to post them somewhere; however, the best solution would be to put them into a Transport Package, and upload to them modxcms.com as a Core Extension. This will allow Revolution users to download it straight from the manager in the Package Management section.
On the Extras page there’s a link "submit a new extra", which leads me to http://modxcms.com/extras/submit-package.html. There’s a login form. I tried my login credentials for both the JIRA issue tracker and the forums, but they didn’t work. Okay, so I followed the link for registering a new account - and there’s a form for registering a new JIRA account (as I said, I already do have a JIRA account, and logging into JIRA works perfectly). Now I’m a little bit confused - what do I have to do to upload my translation package?Think of "map" in this instance like "relate".

What does "map" mean in this context? Normally, I’d choose the German word "abbilden", but I guess this won’t fit optimally since the object somehow has to be transferred to the transport vehicle so it can be, well, transported. Could you give me a different word for it or a short description of the mapping process?
That English version could probably be reworded.
$_lang['package_autoselects_desc'] = 'Please select the resources you would like the Package Builder to automatically include. Note: if building from the core, it is recommended not to check any of these.';
I don’t quite understand which process is meant by "building from the core". Could you give me a short example? Sorry, but I’m quite new to MODx - and the Package Builder doesn’t seem to be activated in Revolution yet (or where can I find it?).
It’s for allowing SMTP to send batches of emails as a lot of at-one-time with one TO address emails, rather than one single email with all the addresses in its TO field.
/core/lexicon/en/setting.inc.php:
$_lang['setting_mail_smtp_single_to'] = 'SMTP Single To'; $_lang['setting_mail_smtp_single_to_desc'] = 'Provides the ability to have the TO field process individual emails, instead of sending to entire TO addresses.';
Hm, I’m totally puzzled by this one. How can the TO field process something? What is this whole setting for?
That definitely needs to be reworded.
$_lang['setting_cache_handler_desc'] = 'The class name of the type handler to use for caching. If set to true, this will use server headers to cache the lexicon strings loaded into JavaScript for the manager interface.';
The first sentence says the setting holds a class name (which it does - by default it’s "xPDOFileCache"). The second sentence says it can be set to "true". Huh?

Thank you very much for your explanations, it has become clearer now.

I don’t type the password at all, it’s stored in a password managing tool, and it definitely works for the JIRA issue tracker, but not for the main site. I registered just before my first bug report, not more than three weeks ago, but I’ll nevertheless try requesting a new password. Just to make sure: The JIRA password should work with the main site even when I registered to the issue tracker directly, shouldn’t it?
I’m not sure why you can’t login - I checked your permissions, and they’re definitely correct. Are you sure you’re typing your password correctly?
When did you register (in other words, does this problem apply to you)? Can you login to the main site from anywhere else (like the top left nav)?
Okay, I’ll wait till then; for the time being I’ll just post to the German subforum as there has already been someone searching for a translation.
As for the translation, we’ll probably be adding a new Tag or Repository for translations. I’d hold off on submitting your translation, as we’re not at RC1 yet and the lexicon entries will likely change (and more likely be trimmed a bit). We’ll have a stage after RC1 initial release where we’ll collect translations and we’ll provide clear direction on how to submit them.
Yes, most definitely. Our integration actually just communicates with Atlassian Crowd (the auth module for JIRA/Confluence) via SOAP and makes sure you have authentication remotely; no passwords are stored in the modx_users table in the modxcms.com database. I’m not sure why you’re having problems.

What’s the sender’s address of these mails? I added "@modxcms.com" and "@collabpad.com" to my whitelist some days ago, so anything from there should arrive here without problems. The e-mail address I entered when registering to the issue tracker is valid, too - you used it when asking me to sign the CLA.
