Do you still get the same error?
The problem with the live server is you could get some stupid problems like cache or broken-uploads, charset missmatches, etc... while you normally don’t get on your local server machine, thats why i was suggesting you the "EasyPhp".
If you are a fan of testing on a live server just give me a mail so i can give you an account on my own server with everything preset for the best Multilingual MODx server, this is my own server for my personal use but am willing to give you the chance to avoid very same oldie mistakes that i faced when i was new to MODx.
i sent you IM with my email and i already added your yahoo ID earlier .. but i would eventually wanna learn about the bugs of multi-language and it’s fixs so i can use it on my server and apply it to clients sites .. but i guess we could do this later on .. and just to know is it easy to install modx on my pc and run it using easy php? cause i didn’t manually install it on server i have simplescripts.com integrated into my hosting and it takes care of that
I personally prefer to install the MODx by myslef rather having some 3rd party scripts install it, you should stop using such 3rd party scripts if you want to know the real cause for each and every problem.
There is no such a bug or anything like that for multibyte languages using MODx, It’s just the difficulty of getting to know how you should be installing or upgrading MODx to prevent any further trouble.
BTW I basically hate online chat applications but I do have accounts so I’ll add your ID later.
Hmmm, Interesting! same error?!
Did you check that you have not entered any spaces befor or after <?php ?>
can you specify the environment you are testing in?
is it a new install or is an upgrade?
provide the charset of the db and MODx you have installed
exactly when you get the error?
thanks!
MotSmart did you email me the info of the server acount as you said cause i got nothing so far?
