    Hi,

    This new version to implement multilingual site is real good and is working well.
    To complement the eForm part, how to apply it to the confirmation email and confirmation message chunks (&report and &thankyou)?
    Also, can the 404 trick be used for the 403 error (unauthorized access)?

    Thanks,
    Julien

      FIrst of all I want to thank you for this fantastic piece of code!

      I got a question. Everything is up and running but I need to add, next to the main menu, a sub menu with only the contents of one menu folder. I want to use a chunk to call a different Wayfinder. To make it different for every language I used

      {{[+language+]_side_menu}}

      Somehow it doesn’t load the chunk because no menu appears. I replaced the [+language+] with de language code manually (for example "de") and the menu is visible.

      So what am I doing wrong?

        I have tried to use this to translate the select box of the eForm as well.

        I have in the lang file
        ...
        $_lang['ef_roomc1'] = "Room for 1 person";
        $_lang['ef_roomc2'] = "Room for 2 people";
        $_lang['ef_roomc3'] = "Room for 3 people";
        $_lang['ef_roomc4'] = "Room for 4 people";
        $_lang['ef_rooms2'] = "Studio for 2 people";
        $_lang['ef_rooms3'] = "Studio for 3 people";
        $_lang['ef_rooms4'] = "Studio for 4 people";
        ...

        I have in the SetPrompts
        ...
        $fields['ef_roomc1'] = $_lang['ef_roomc1'];
        $fields['ef_roomc2'] = $_lang['ef_roomc2'];
        $fields['ef_roomc3'] = $_lang['ef_roomc3'];
        $fields['ef_roomc4'] = $_lang['ef_roomc4'];
        $fields['ef_rooms2'] = $_lang['ef_rooms2'];
        $fields['ef_rooms3'] = $_lang['ef_rooms3'];
        $fields['ef_rooms4'] = $_lang['ef_rooms4'];
        ...

        I have in my page
        ...
        <select name="room" id="cf[+ef_roomtype+]" class="clsoption" eform_options="[+ef_roomtype+]::1" />
             <option value="[+ef_roomc1+]">[+ef_roomc1+]</option>
             <option value="[+ef_roomc2+]">[+ef_roomc2+]</option>
             <option value="[+ef_roomc3+]">[+ef_roomc3+]</option>
             <option value="[+ef_roomc4+]">[+ef_roomc4+]</option>
             <option value="[+ef_rooms2+]">[+ef_rooms2+]</option>
             <option value="[+ef_rooms3+]">[+ef_rooms3+]</option>
             <option value="[+ef_rooms4+]">[+ef_rooms4+]</option>
        </select>
        ...

        I get an error that the room input is not valid when I send the form. I isolated the problem to come from the values of the option tags.
        If I replace all the "[+ef_roomxx+]" with a "dummy text", the error is gone. If I remove the quotes, I get a PHP error.
        I don’t know what else to try.

        Does anyone see something obvious I haven’t seen?

        Thanks

          HI.
          I’m building multilingual site and have a couple of questions about this.

          I have the menu tree like on attached image.
          1)What is site root - My site or Start (1)?
          2) Do I have the proper menu tree. In the tutorial it’s told to make language links as folders, but I cant find that possibility to make folders. I can make resource or web link only. Is it the same as folder? Or the resource becomes folder itself when adding some submenu to it?

          3) Do i have to add some content to the language folder/document, since if i go to www.mysite.com/en it shows an empty page. I made my multilanguage system as described on the Wiki website, so maybe in the tutorial of Aceman3000 this issue is resolved?

            You did the right thing. When you edit a page the option for ’folder’ is called ’container’ in the page options tab.

            Use the snippet [[FirstChildRedirect]] on the container page for your languages. For example in the "ru (2)" and "en (4)" container.

                I dont get it smiley What ist ment by this?
                This includes the languageChooser and a php-file "assets/languages/currentlanguage.php" (currentlanguage is the two-letter ISO Country Code) . And you get a navigation with only the pages in the current language.
                What is this php file with the country code? Do I have to write it myself? If so - what is the content?

                Cheers,

                Dogo

                Edit: it does work. However.

                  How do I get just a subfolder inside a submenu?

                  ->de
                  -->willkommen
                  -->seiten
                  --->impressum
                  --->kontakt
                  ->en
                  -->welcome
                  -->pages
                  --->imprint
                  --->contact

                  Ressources below "seiten" / "pages" are supposed to appear insite a footer. But how?
                  Any clues?

                  Dogo

                    Ok...how do I describe my problem without confusing everyone?? huh

                    Well here goes:

                    I’ve followed the instructions of the tut and am able to get the flags to show up as so:

                    http://grab.by/2bNe

                    The obvious problem with this is that the navigation elements aren’t showing up and the flags are linking to the containers which are blank pages.

                    Here is my site structure (which was created after setting up the entire english site which is why you see lots of pages in the root of the site...i’ve removed these from the menu for now):

                    http://grab.by/2bNA

                    I’d like the navigation to display like this:

                    http://grab.by/2bMb

                    without the containers and of course with the flags. This is wayfinder snippet that styles the nav properly without localization:

                    [!Wayfinder?&startId=`0`&level=`2`&outerTpl=`navigation`&innerTpl=`innerTpl`!]

                    One other thing that is confusing me is that from the debug code it appears that $language is getting the value from my alias field and not the TV "languageIdentifier". Could anyone shed some light on this for me? I would be very grateful.

                      Taiyo,

                      this is a "wayfinder" question. No one will find it here smiley
                      First, I think you have to get rid of those flags. You have to edit the "inner template" chunk, which holds all of the single menu entries.

                      Wayfinder can be tricky - but check this: http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=34176.0;attach=9315
                      It is quite a lot, but if you start at the very beginning, you will know everything you need in about two hours.

                      Cheers,

                      Guido
