0.9.6.2's Missing language parts.

Just for information, I have done some checks on the manager languages files and I find the same kind of differences for Svenska and French files so, this could interest the others

Enclosed as example the svenska test :

- "database_collation", "database_charset", "rb_webuser_message", "rb_webuser_title", "role", "role_empty_trash" are added languafe that should be translated.

- "access_permissions_user_group" has been removed in the english file but "access_permissions_user_groups" exists
- "web_access_permissions_user_group" has been removed in the english file but "web_access_permissions_user_groups" exists

- "access_permissions_user_group_access", "web_access_permissions_user_group_access" seems now deprecated (they don’t exist in the english file and in any file of the manager folder).

I will post the updated english file later [Edit: see rev 3734]. To correct the english file simply, line 161 add a carriage return before $_lang[checking_mysql_version] ... and remove the blank line 168.

I just saw that there is a difference between the english.inc.php file, I downloaded with the Installer Package and the same one from here .
I translated the file from in Installer Package and those lines about mSQL checking are missing there.

Now I am sending the other one translated - hope this is the right one ))))

I’m not sure which version of the swedish (svenska) language file you are using in your test, but the issues you have found doesn’t exist in the latest file. I have been following along with svn and checked it thoroughly before submitting.

Pont, I confirm that your file is correct. Sorry, but I can’t retrieve which version of file I used, yesterday. May be the previous existing file. Sorry for the annoyance.
Nevertheless my post remains usefull and could help the others to keep care of some difficulties in the translation stuff.

Thanks to everyone for the updates, Hey Brunaud, your tool is just Great!, i really mean it!

Brunaud, I found out that the; "  " sign in this image generated because the language file has been saved under the "unicode signature(BOM)" format and as you might know PHP generally have some problems with unicode type formates and it may result in a blank page in the installer or manager sometimes!

Thanks MotSmart. If I have some time I will try to industrialize this small tool, to avoid to change manually the file names. And I try to provide a global check for all the files of a lang directory.

Regarding the unicode signature (BOM), thanks for the explanations. It don’t know this.
