0.9.6.2's Missing language parts.

Hello to everyone involved in the translation effort,

Below list is all languages that MODx has their language files or host their support forums/sub-forums, As you might know MODx 0.9.6.2 is on its way to be released and yet there is many missing language files.

• Bulgarian (No any translation file is submitted!)
• Chinese (Missing the installer language file)
• Czech (No any translation file is submitted!)
• Dutch (No any translation file is submitted!)
• Danish (Missing the installer language file)
• Finnish (Missing the installer language file)
• Filipino (No any translation file is submitted!)
• French - Included.
• German - Included.
• Irish (No any translation file is submitted!)
• Italian (Missing the installer language file)
• Japanese - Included.
• Nederlands (Missing the installer language file)
• Norsk (Missing the installer language file)
• Persian - Included.
• Polish (Missing the installer language file)
• Portuguese (Missing the installer language file)
• Russian - Included.
• Scandinavian (No any translation file is submitted!)
• Slovak (No any translation file is submitted!)
• Spanish - Included.
• Swedish - Included.
• Turkish (No any translation file is submitted!)

Note: For those languages which is missing installer language file, translation of attached 0.9.6.2-installer-language-pack.zip file is required.
& those have no any translation file, translation of 0.9.6.2-complete-language-pack.zip file is required.

I tried to clarify which languages are missing in which sections so with the help of those who are in charge of translations we can have full support for their languages in coming 0.9.6.2 release, You can also check the current(included) installer language files & manager language files to see whether your language file is there or needs your help?!, So if you are interested in translation please do so and reply back the translated ones.

Started to translate the Norwegian installer-pack to day. You’ll get it during next week.

There might be some minor additions (new labels) to the installer language file that you can have it tomorrow or day after it that i will attach the file here but you can start with the present (attached zip) installer language file as the changes are some addition and not an overall change.

Please leave a language file name + country language name in your reply in case you start any translation,
i.e; If Norsk is used to call a Swedish language, Name the language file as Swedish(.inc.php) and at the description part of a language file leave a note that Norsk is Swedish language.

I will follow your instructions, and then tell you that Norsk is used to call the norwegian language . Should I call it norsk.inc.php or norwegian.inc.php? I see the swedish file is called svenska.inc.php, where svenska is swedish for eh.. swedish.

Oh i see, sorry for the mistake and thank you for the information Sylvaticus,
Better to use norwegian.inc.php & swedish.inc.php and leave a note in description of a file that Norsk is Norwegian language and Svenska is Swedish language, This way will prevent any further mistakes and language calling method will be the same for all.

Sylvaticus, could you kindly check the diff and update the translation?, normally this might take 15 to 30 minutes based on what you have done for the installer previously

Here is Complete Language Pack , translated in Bulgarian Language. I already posted the Install part, but its included here in the pack again.

Hope the Bulgarian Language will not be missing any more


Edit: I changed the correct lang file for the Installer, all the rest is just the same and I see the lang file for the Manager is already added. Thanks guys! )))

Find enclosed a short tool which check that no labels are useless or forgotten between english file and any other language file.
Open the file and set the two variables for your own local environment.
You could use it for any language file (not only for the installer)

With this tool unfortunately I found an issue in the english file (a carriage return was missing so the $_lang["checking_mysql_version"] assignment has been taken as a comment on the previous line.
The first screen capture (french file test) below show this result.

I have done some other tests on Norwegian file (downloaded here) and Bulgarian file ((downloaded this morning)

Sylvaticus and WildRose sorry for the english typo ($_lang["checking_mysql_version"]), this generate an issue too in your own language file.
I will post the updated english file later [Edit: see rev 3734]. To correct the english file simply, line 161 add a carriage return before $_lang[checking_mysql_version] ... and remove the blank line 168.
