Support/Comments for Easy 2 Gallery 1.4.0-RC-4

Are you sure you have clicked the Synchronize button?
It’s not the same with the file’s Synchronize button.

Everything is ok for admin account [id:1] and there is nothing I want changed.
Problems start with editor account - only other account present.

On the contrary I want everything enabled, but dashboard is the only thing enabled.

I will write down all the steps after installing Easy 2 gallery and adding first gallery:

1.Created new User group in Security -> Manager permissions named Test.
2.Added editor account to this group.
3.Synchronised easy 2 gallery in Menu -> Users
4.Clicked Access Tab, chekced everything, saved.
5.Logged in modx with editor account, navigated to Easy 2 gallery, but have access just to dashboard.

P.S
After checking files, uploads, etc in Access tab and clikcing save, they don’t appear below "edit".

I guess for some reasons settings aren’t saved

OK, reverse the step:
1. Download the latest revision (r342), first
2. Overwrite all
3. Save configs
4. Synchro users
5. Access tab, edit, check several
6. Logged in with editor account.

The dashboard page is the public page.
It’s not forbidden for everyone.

I did as you suggested, no change.

Settings just won’t save. Maybe I have some messed up directory permissions ?

Dashboard page is still the only one I can see while using editor account.

IF I change editors role to administrator, he can access everything in Easy 2 gallery menu.

try create another user group, set another user to it.
this may be little bit dumb, but perhaps something different would come up.

Any server’s log?

Does anyone else have the same problem with wonderland?

Mine works as expected.
I have an editors group that can see the dash, upload, and files.

Hi thanks for help. The only errors in the log are

[Tue Nov 23 08:48:19 2010] [error] [client 66.249.71.117] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ’)’ in /home/sites/foxcomcms.co.uk/public_html/lite/manager/includes/document.parser.class.inc.php(746) : eval()’d code on line 1

I cant see what the issue would be here that causes the pages problem...

Also tried the first suggestion you made about it not being installed. I overwrote a previous installation.

I will try and install again..

I created new group and user as you suggested, I can save "Access" settings in this group.
But when I log in with this groups member I still have access only to dashboard.

I noticed one more strange thing (I included image for better understanding).

In this picture "galerijasm" is first group in the list and I can’t save Access settings.
I can save access setting in second group of the list "Ulda grupa"
However, if I would delete "galerijasm" group, "Ulda group" would become first group in the list and I wouldn’t be able to save Access settings again.

Everything else is working without problems
