try this:
1. save the configs
2. synchronize
3. check server’s error log.
4. check assets/images/ ’s permission

The problem is that the filename’s placeholder could not fill the thumbnail’s generated image.
Something wrong with your server.
Please check your server’s log, copy-paste the logs that’s related to Easy 2.

I have a problem with users.
I have default admin account and 1 publisher account.
When I log in with admin account everything is ok. But if I log in with publisher account I have only dashboard available in menu.
I’ve tried using manager groups and no groups but I only have dashboard option in menu.
If I change publishers role to administrator I have access to all menu items but I don’t want so much permissions for this user.

After you Synchronize with MODx’s user groups, you can edit the ’Access’.
BTW,
Administrator (id:1) user is the non-editable Supreme User.
You can not change its permission.

I’ve tried that. But even after checking every check box there I still get just dashboard option.
I noticed that if I check every check box, click save I get the "4021 : User group was updated". But if I want to edit Access again every check box is unchecked.

Dashboard is the default homepage.
You mean you want to disable it also?

Not on my side. see again my screenshots above. Strange.
Are you sure you have clicked the Synchronize button?
It’s not the same with the file’s Synchronize button.
