Support/Comments for Easy 2 Gallery 1.4.0-RC-4

I have loaded in other browser (without logging - possible jQuery conflicts was first thing I have checked - I went trough all threads here first looking for similar problems

I also checked for possible div ID’s conflicts (in case that template used by galleries uses the same ID’s in page’s template)

I guess it will be hard to tell what could be wrong having such limited information - I did some code for other community as well so I know the pain :>
so is there any way to provide more specific information to solve problem?

some progress.. now plugin outputs also closing tag for wrapper div,

the call is like this

of course TV is properly set (changing gid to ’2’ does not change anything)

Is there something on your Apache’s error log?
Or MODx’s ?

I believe I’ve make the thumbnail’s IDs are looping individually based on their ’id’.
Empty content like this:

usually comes from on halt returning because of the FALSE result.
It just returns empty.

Or did you use any web-user access permission into the gallery?

I’m hoping that I could get some assistance from goldsky. I’ve chatted with you previously about customising version 1.3.5 so that the folders and files list is vetted by the document groups that the user is attached to. I’m in the process of adding that to version 1.4.0 using what you’ve added, but I’m struggling to follow how the folders and file list is generated; specifically I’m looking at the _readDir funcition in the e2g.module.class.php file. I can’t see where to put in the statement that say something like ’Only folders with an id of X can be processed’.

Can you help please?

Are you trying to limit the access on the module side?

I don’t have access to Apache errorlog (it is just not present), and there is nothing in modx log
anyway, if it was access problem Lightbox-type galleries would not show as well, but they work properly

well.. maybe I will just use e2g for managing gallery and write snippet myself

stupid question.. js files for slideshow should be added manually or they are added automatically like highslide?

I believe, this problem might be related with your server settings.
Try on your localhost first.

btw, have you try RC5?

not sure if this is relevant but in install instruction for RC5 you wrote I need to copy config.easy2gallery.php to new location (upgrade from RC4)

yet, I can only find "default.config.easy2gallery.php" in includes/configs

so you meant ’default’ or there should be file with exact name "config.easy2gallery.php" maybe this is reason why its not working for me..
