.. another question:
is there any chance to choose/define image for folder thumbnail ?
if not, an +easy2:path+ or something like what defines the path to the folder would be nice in next release

i’m about to apply &path and &file to be another gallery selection.

.. perhaps my bad english :
i don’t wanna specify path/file in snippet - rather define by template, than i can define a pic for folder (e.g. src="[+easy2:cat_path+]/0.jpg"). If i didnt take a big mistake, it seems me that e2g assigns thumb to folders weird randomly.
I thought it assigns the 1st pic’s thumb from the folder (lowest filename), but yesterday it changed me to a subfolder’s thumb.

Example:
Galry

Dir-- this folder’s thumb was thumb of 0.jpg, but changed to thumb of Dir2
|
Dir1
Dir2
Dir3
0.jpg
pic2.jpg

after i removed Dir2 and resynced, Dir’s thumb "restored" to 0.jpg’s thumb, but when i moved Dir2 back, Dir’s thumb changed to Dir2’s thumb again

ohh, as i red back i got an idea and ... yes

I made a 0.jpg for all folders to "define" the folder’s thumb, and seem the e2g go down to full tree and choose the "lowest" picture from full set, not from actual folder. As I changed the name from 0.jpg to 1.jpg in Dir2, the problem solved - now . But for the future a better solution would be nice.

the dir’s thumb is taken from the lowest directory structure, ordered by &cat_thumb_orderby

unfortunatelly I am also having trouble with slideshow view

[!easy2? &gid=`[[getE2Gids? &give=`gid`]]` &fid=`[[getE2Gids? &give=`fid`]]`!]

renders nicely without any trouble, but when I add

[!easy2? &gid=`2` &slideshow=`galleryview` &ss_config=`gallerylight` &w=`100` &h=`100` &ss_w=`600` &ss_h=`400` &ss_limit=`7` !]

it renders nothing

when switched to gallerific, it renders just first opening container div and then stops

does anyone have any idea why this is happening?

no matter what type of slideshow I choose, it stops working, while traditional lightbox type works well

Have you tried turning off the loading of jquery in the QuickManager plugin? Or at least try setting it to load jquery in no-conflict mode?

yes, loaded page in other browser (so no Quick Manager at all), also set up new subpage with really simple template, no js libs etc

on this new basic template situation was exactly the same - normal working for lightbox-type output, and nothing for galleries - except <div class="e2g_wrapper" id="e2g_wrapper_1"> that is not closed, so obviously snippet’s work is interrupted here

try to browse it with another browser, while you’re logged in with another one.
or, just log out to see the difference.
if it keeps broken, please report.
