what’s your template?

Its been some time since I posted the last time

I have tested the gallery now and think its great.

I have a site up now with about 4000 images in it.

Ive been wondering if its possible to change the URL structure to a friendly URL

At the moment it looks like:

domain.com/category-name?sid=1&gid=50&gpn=3

Would it be posible to generate this from the above:

domain.com/category-name/1/gallery50/page3

I don’t think it’s wise to do that.
Easy 2 Gallery could overrides any MODx’s FURL if there is a similar structure.

4000 images look fantastic!
Do you have any problem in any case?

The site is purely for images - i.e Its an image gallery without other pages as such.

At the moment it has 3 categories + homepage + contact = total page 5

But if the URL’s could be re-written then the image folders would count as pages in the eyes of a search engine

Which would give the site about 350 overview pages and tons of gallery folders instead of just 3 overview pages

Other Problems:

Not realy problems as such more aesthetics.

The directory overview shows the paginations HTML code even if there isnt a second, third etc.. directory overview

The same goes if the folder only has the amount of image that is pre-defined to display or less e.g Folder contains 6 images, display amount = 9

But at the moment I dont have the time to work on a WorkAround

Hi Goldsky, i am using the galleriffic slideshow template, example-2

The <form> tag is stripped by the _stripHTMLTags function.
I didn’t aware that anyone would not need this.
I’ll make an option for this.

RUN THE INSTALLER, please.

After that, see the Config > General
At the most bottom, you’ll see the Stip HTML Tags On/Off.

&strip_html_tags=`0` is the runtime snippet call.

After install E2G-1.4.0-rc4-r352 don’t save config settings.

And error
