    Think opposite.

    In you config page, set the image’s dimension settings as Width: 0, Height: 0, Compression level: 100.
    It means all your images are untouched by the image resizer.

    But when you call the snippet for 800x800 pixels, add the parameters like this [!easy2? ... &w=`800` &h=`800` &thq=`86` &img_src=`generated` ... !]

      But that gives me 800x800 thumbnails! Thats not what I meant.

      I’d like to have two kinds of galleries. BOTH should have thumbnail-previews. The first shows 800x800px-images when clicked, the second one shows the original files. The user should just upload big images and depending on the snippet-call he gets a regular 800x800-gallery or the one with the original files.

      Also, I get
      Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 32768000) (tried to allocate 12288 bytes) in /homepages/39/d215557382/htdocs/modx_2010-11/assets/modules/easy2/includes/classes/e2g.module.class.php on line 827
      when uploading or syncing images with 3000x2000px, even when no scaling is involved.

      I guess I’m on the wrong track here, e2g doesn’t seem like the right tool for what I want. Nevermind and thanks anyway!

        sorry for my understanding, without excuses.

        But if I were you, I’d create 2 folders, 1st is for original size, the 2nd is for the 800x800 px.
        I’d keep setting the module’s configs as Width: 0, Height: 0, and Compression level: 100.
        Which there is a limitation, that the resizing should be done offline, because of above setting.

        So the snippet calls would fetch the images from different folder.

        is nothing to do with e2g.
        It’s been discussed lately about the big resolution images, and the conclusion was the images from camera should be resized offline.

        No problem at all.

          hi again,

          As I told you yesterday, when call with simpleslideshow, the snippet output this error:
          1351 : Empty index file in database.

          I definitively forget the idea to debug the whole stuff.

          Can you simply provide me a way to produce a clean list of images with not the whole "wrapped-wrapping-rewrapper stuff" because this ’gallery_1.htm’ I changed

           <div class="e2g_gallery" id="e2g_gallery_[+easy2:sid+]">
          [+easy2:content+]
           </div>

          Give me NO control on what is produced by [+easy2:content+].

          And I just can’t output a clean list like this (quit large thumbs clickable for lightbox effect) that rotates in a custom slideshow)
          <div class="e2g_gallery" id="e2g_gallery_[+easy2:sid+]">
          <ul class="eg2">

          <li class="thumb"> ...

          etc..

          How can I do this please?
          Plus avoid the auto loading of the deprecated JQ librairie 1.3, while keeping Lightbox2 active (I wanna keep control on my librairies outside any snippet)

          (after it should be ez to add a clean jquery-cycle plugin)

          Thank you

            This version is still using the in-the-core wrapping thumbnails as the legacy of 1.3x version.
            The full freedom will be implemented on the 1.4.0-pl version, which will be released on the middle of this December.

              Thank you,

              Hope you’ll be able to release the next version very soon.

              I’ll probably have to use it, but for now I should use something more striaght and I’ll look at MaxiGallery for this very project (wich was already in use in the first version of the site I redesign) but less convenient than Evo for my expected need.

                Hi,

                I am having issues with Easy2 with one particular site, I have it running successfully on other sites but am getting an error on this one.
                I am using a simple call: [!easy2? &gid=`1`!]

                The Error:
                PHP error debug
                Error: include() [function.include]: Filename cannot be empty
                Error type/ Nr.: Warning - 2
                File: /home/lidiapli/public_html/assets/modules/easy2/snippet.easy2gallery.php
                Line: 56
                Line 56 source: include $e2g[’jsdisabled_tpl’];

                I have saved the config in the module and cleared the cache but still this issue persists. I have also re-installed after deleting the module and removing all db tables named ’modx_easy2...’.
                Also when i do save the config, the page refreshes to display the unstyled home page rather than the ’Config has been updated’ text.
                Could there be anything else i could try?

                Thanks

                J

                      Btw,
                      Is "JS disabled tpl:" pointed to assets/modules/easy2/templates/default/jsdisabled.htm ?
