    Hi, I did an upgrade of modx revo together with an upgrade of the gallery addon, but now all my images are gone.

    This is what I get in the source code:
    <li data-id="1006"><a href="cars/beetle/1950-pearl-grey-std.html" title="1950 Pearl grey std Split window top restored"><img src="http://www.bbt4vw.com/assets/components/gallery/connector.php?action=web/phpthumb&w=166&h=111&zc=1&far=C&q=70%25&f=jpg&src=http%3A%2F%2Fen.virginoutlaws.comhttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.bbt4vw.com%2Fassets%2Fcomponents%2Fgallery%2Ffiles%2F5%2F5567.jpg" width="166" height="111" alt="" /></a></li>

    My images are all on the main domain (bbt4vw.com) in the assets folder, but now the link to the file is prepended by the subdomain (en.virginoutlaws.com).

    System setting ’gallery.files_url’ is set to the main domain (http://www.bbt4vw.com/assets/components/gallery/files/)
    This setting was working fine until the upgrade

      People, I’m deadserious that I need urgent help with this, my client is furious and it’s a blame on my company’s name, just by upgrading modx and gallery

      Did a downgrade to modx 2.0.8, reinstalled my old database, downgrade to gallery 1.2.0 rc1 and still broken links on the pictures... I just don’t know what’s wrong, can someone pretty please help me with this?

        1. You need to provide a lot more information about your environment before people can help you.
        2. You should look into manually setting the phpthumb_document_root setting, as it looks like it’s not being set correctly.

          Is this a new setting in Modx 2.1.1?

          Because I’ve downgraded to 2.0.8 with my previous database and can’t find it anywhere

          I have a couple of contexts:
          maindomain.com > context: web
          This is where all the galleries are stored in maindomain.com/assets/components/galleries/

          en.otherdomain.com > context: vo-en > gallery.assets_url: http://maindomain.com/assets/components/gallery/
          nl.otherdomain.com > context: vo-nl
          Also tried to set gallery.file_url: http://maindomain.com/assets/components/gallery/file/
          But then I get http://en.otherdomain.comhttp://maindomain.com/assets/components/gallery/file/ in the link to the sourcefile (see first post)

          Otherdomain.com takes all the pictures from the galleries stored in maindomain.com, this has been working perfectly since the beginning, but since the upgrade the links are broken

            Ok, upgraded everything again: modx revo 2.1.1-pl, gallery 1.2.0-pl

            system settings:

            gallery.phpthumb_path: /home/domain/public_html/assets/components/phpthumb/ (doesn’t exist!)
            gallery.phpthumb_url: /assets/components/phpthumb/ (doesn’t exist!)
            phpthumb_document_root: blank
            gallery.files_url: /assets/components/gallery/files/
            gallery.assets_url: http://www.maindomain.com/assets/components/gallery/

            the folder ’phpthumb’ doesn’t exist in components, only ’phpthumbof’ and I can’t find the package phpthumb for Revo?

            getResources call:
            [[!getResources? &parents=`[[*id]]` &tpl=`QuickSandRowTpl2` &includeTVs=`1` &processTVs=`1` &includeContent=`1` &showHidden=`0` &depth=`2` &sortby=`pagetitle` &sortdir=`ASC` &limit=``]]

            QuickSandRowTpl2:
            <li data-id="[[+id]]"><a href="[[~[[+id]]]]" title="[[+pagetitle]]">[[!Gallery? &album=`[[+tv.GallerijNaam]]` &thumbTpl=`QuickSandThumbTpl` &imageWidth=`500` &imageHeight=`500` &sort=`name` &thumbWidth=`166` &thumbHeight=`111` &limit=`1` &dir=`ASC` &thumbProperties=`{"f":"jpg","q":"70%"}` &imageProperties=`{"f":"jpg","q":"70%"}`]]</a></li>

            QuickSandthumbTpl:
            <img src="[[+thumbnail]]" width="166" height="111" alt="" />

            Frontend result:
            <li data-id="1006"><a href="cars/beetle/1950-pearl-grey-std.html" title="1950 Pearl grey std Split window top restored"><img src="http://www.maindomain.com/assets/components/gallery/connector.php?action=web/phpthumb&w=166&h=111&zc=1&far=C&q=70%25&f=jpg&src=http%3A%2F%2Fen.otherdomain.com%2Fassets%2Fcomponents%2Fgallery%2Ffiles%2F5%2F5567.jpg" width="166" height="111" alt="" /></a></li>

            <li data-id="1518"><a href="cars/beetle/1952-clean-blue-split.html" title="1952 Clean blue split!"><img src="http://www.maindomain.com/assets/components/gallery/connector.php?action=web/phpthumb&w=166&h=111&zc=1&far=C&q=70%25&f=jpg&src=http%3A%2F%2Fen.otherdomain.com%2Fassets%2Fcomponents%2Fgallery%2Ffiles%2F9%2F410.jpg" width="166" height="111" alt="" /></a></li>

            en.otherdomain.com in the frontend result should be www.maindomain.com, but I can’t find this setting

              Can I at least get paid support for this? Now a complete registration system in another context is also gone for an event within 2 weeks

              Update on the registration system:
              I also upgraded the login-package and I have one line of code that generates a link to the login and registration page or welcomes a logged in user:
              <p> [[!Profile]][[!+modx.user.id:is=``:then=`<a href="[[~[[++login_page]]]]">Login</a> to your profile, if you're still not registered for the convoy, <a href="[[~[[++register_page]]]]">Register</a> now! Username or Password forgotten? <a href="[[~[[++passforgotten_page]]]]">Click here</a>`:else=`Welcome [[!+username]]!<br /><a href="[[~[[++changepassword_page]]]]" >Change Password</a> • <a href="[[~[[++login_page]]]]&service=logout" >Sign out</a>`]]</p>

              Worked fine before the update, but now shows nothing in the front-end, only the <p>-tags, is there any syntax that has changed and doesn’t work anymore?

              I don’t know which information you need, so please ask me, I’m sorry for being impatient, but I’m playing hangman right now...

                Ok, I’m going to rephrase everything, I know the solution but I don’t know where to find it, so I need help on this one:

                There is a line that calls my thumbs: (src="[[+thumbnail]]")
                src="http://www.bbt4vw.com/assets/components/gallery/connector.php?action=web/phpthumb&amp;w=166&amp;h=111&amp;zc=1&amp;far=C&amp;q=70%25&amp;f=jpg&amp;src=http%3A%2F%2Fen.virginoutlaws.comhttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.bbt4vw.com%2Fassets%2Fcomponents%2Fgallery%2Ffiles%2F5%2F5567.jpg"

                src="http://www.bbt4vw.com/assets/components/gallery/connector.php?action=web/phpthumb&amp;w=166&amp;h=111&amp;zc=1&amp;far=C&amp;q=70%25&amp;f=jpg&amp;src=http%3A%2F%2Fen.virginoutlaws.comhttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.bbt4vw.com%2Fassets%2Fcomponents%2Fgallery%2Ffiles%2F5%2F5567.jpg"

                I have to get rid of the crossed part in the above line and then my gallery problem is solved, so does anybody know in which system setting I can remove it?

                  Site has to go live, zero support, even if you want to pay for it, so drastic decision

                  No more subdomains, multiple domains in one modx install, I’m going to split it up in 2 modx installs for each domain. Don’t want to take the risk anymore for future updates... Going to loose a lot of time and money on this one...

                    Hori, you were provided support in my post above; I suggested taking a look at the phpthumb_document_root setting. It is an absolute path; you could have googled "phpthumb document_root" and found this out.

                    This is most likely your issue, as your host seems to not be calculating its path correctly. Other than that, you may have a specific issue since you are using Gallery with multiple domains; this may not yet be a supported feature with Gallery.

                      I’ve been googling for 2 days and tried about everything. Changing phpthumb_document_root setting didn’t work out, definitely no changes in the frontend.

                      Multiple domains with gallery has always been working until I did an upgrade this week. Supported or not, it worked!

                      Anyway, the site is back online with a seperate modx install, but there are still some problems that I’m facing after the upgrade...
