            Hi,

Same problem to me, and no change to the server.
In the front office, no prob, the phpthumbof working perfectly, but when the gallery connector use the phpthump (request action as ’web/phpthumb’ at connector.php:29, for exemple), it seems the problem come from to it!

            I’m under the 2.1.1-pl version.

Logout of the MODX manager, clear your browser cache, and relogin.

Also, check the error log (core/cache/logs/error.log) for any relevant errors.

                    made this, and, the log:

                    (when I call this page):
                    http://****/assets/components/gallery/connector.php?action=web/phpthumb&h=100&w=100&zc=1&far=C&src=http%3A%2F%2F****%2Fassets%2Fcomponents%2Fgallery%2Ffiles%2F1%2F1.jpg (**** as the domain)

                    [2011-06-13 22:53:31] (ERROR @ /srv/****/htdocs/core/model/phpthumb/phpthumb.class.php : 3210) PHP warning: file_get_contents(http://****/assets/components/gallery/files/1/1.jpg): failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden

                    The /assets/components/gallery/files/1/1.jpg exist, Why a 403 error ?

                      I Mistake !
The version of MODx was 2.1.0-pl (with the Gallery problem/broken image), upgraded to 2.1.1-pl a few minutes ago, well, the problem is gone.

                      for me, it’s okey !
