After taking better look at it, it seems that there’s something wrong with the actual target jpg files..

That opens in Firefox, but IE7 cannot render it.. It could be that the files are corrupted. If you are uploading very big images, you may come up against the server max script time limit. So maxigallery stops processing in the middle of upload and files get corrupted.
Have you read the part from maxigallery wiki page that says "important note". There’s some server values that you can try to adjust. Or just upload smaller pictures.

I dont think file size is the issue. I agree that it does appear to be file related or at least very image related (as if you have given maxi a fashion taste lol) but not file size. I say this as the biggest image by far is 800kb and all the others are 350kb or less. Even some of the smaller images (about 130kb) dont open.
It could be due to file corruption though, as you say, but perhaps before it even gets uploaded, yet it works fine on my system ?
Does the original images open with IE7? I don’t really know what is corrupting them or why they do not show up with IE7.. But try uploading them again if you haven’t already, or create new versions of the original images with some imaging tool and hopefully they start working..

Sorry I didnt get back last night. My head was all over lol. I did though start the proces you mentioned yesterday early evening. The image wont open in IE7 even if local on the machine, but after opening it saving it as a png then rename old jpg and then saving the png as the original jpg it started working. Also I couldnt do this using Photoshop, I had to do this using another tool.
I have never encountered anything like this before. I will be changing the images out during the course of today, many thanks for your help. But its a right bizarr one I think you will admit lol.

Any image experts out there that can disect a jpg please feel free to take a look as this one has got me and I think Doze aswell well confused.
